Acyclovir Slavia is an antiviral medicine for systemic use. It works by destroying or stopping the replication of viruses.
Acyclovir Slavia cream is used for:
- Treatment of primary or recurrent mucocutaneous herpetic infections (including genital localization), caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV) (excluding neonatal HSV and severe HSV infections in immunocompromised children);
- Prevention of recurrent HSV infections in immunocompetent patients;
- Treatment of varicella-zoster virus (VZV) infections.
