The Slavia Pharm manufacturing facility was built at its current location in 2006 and has obtained GMP certifications issued by the Romanian regulatory authority, as outlined in the timeline below:

• 2008    GMP certification for oral solid dosage forms (tablets, film-coated tablets, capsules, powders, and granules in sachets), as well as semi-solid dosage forms (creams, gels, and ointments), including packaging, quality control, and batch release.
• 2011    Extension of the existing certification to include GMP authorization for the manufacturing of investigational medicinal products (IMPs) for clinical trials (oral solid dosage forms), covering packaging, quality control, and batch release.
• 2016    Expansion of the existing certifications through the approval of an additional secondary packaging site.
• 2018     Further extension of the GMP certification to include a new production line for liquids for external use (medicated shampoos), including packaging, quality control, and batch release.
• 2023      Update of the existing certifications to include import activities for medicinal products for human use and investigational medicinal products (IMPs).

Slavia Pharm’s products and manufacturing capabilities are also used in various collaborations with local and international partners.
